• Account information: email address, display name, and password (or authentication credentials if using Sign in with Apple)

• Profile information: body weight, height, body type, fitness goals, and training preferences

• Health and fitness data: workout logs, exercise completion data, food and nutrition logs, water intake, step counts, and weight measurements

• User-generated content: workout notes, session logs, and profile photos

• Payment information: subscription status and plan type. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and Apple. We do not store your credit card number, bank account details, or other financial account information on our servers.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use Kore, we may automatically collect:

• Device information: device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers

• Usage data: app interaction data, features used, and session duration

• Apple Health data (with your explicit permission): step count and calories burned, synced from Apple HealthKit

Information from Third-Party Services

• Apple: authentication data if you use Sign in with Apple

• Stripe: subscription status and transaction identifiers for payment processing

• RevenueCat: subscription management and purchase verification data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features

• Generate personalised AI workout plans based on your profile and preferences

• Analyse food and nutrition data from barcode scans, photos, and text input

• Track your fitness progress, health metrics, and workout history

• Process and manage your subscription

• Send you reminders and notifications you have opted into

• Improve and optimise the App's functionality and user experience

• Respond to customer support requests

• Detect, prevent, and address technical issues and security concerns

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service providers: We share data with third-party services that help us operate the App, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), RevenueCat (subscription management), Perplexity AI (food analysis and workout generation), and FatSecret (nutrition data). These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

• Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.

• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

• With your consent: We may share your information for other purposes with your explicit consent.

Kore requests access to Apple HealthKit data (step count and calories burned) with your explicit permission. We handle this data in accordance with Apple's HealthKit guidelines:

• HealthKit data is used solely within the App to display your health metrics and track your fitness progress.

• We do not share HealthKit data with third parties, including for advertising or marketing purposes.

• We do not sell HealthKit data.

• We do not use HealthKit data for purposes unrelated to providing health and fitness functionality within the App.

• HealthKit data is stored securely and is associated only with your account.

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides industry-standard encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS). We implement row-level security to ensure only you can access your personal data. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with our services. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Upon account deletion, we will delete all your personal data from our servers, including workout history, food logs, health data, profile information, and authentication records.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you

• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data

• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data

• Portability: Request transfer of your data to another service

Kore is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will delete that information promptly. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that are different from the laws of your country. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries. We take appropriate safeguards to ensure your data is protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Kore offers auto-renewable subscriptions. Payment is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system or through Stripe for web-based purchases. Subscription details, including pricing and billing frequency, are presented to you before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings or through the Manage Subscription feature within the App.
